Founder
From an early age, I discovered my passion for small business as the son of two professionals and entrepreneurs, who are both immigrants. Growing up in this environment, my family’s kitchen table conversations revolved around the ups and downs of building something meaningful for the family. I learned that true resilience comes not just from talent, but from experience and hard work.
As an engineer in industrial wastewater, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, I developed a strong foundation in manufacturing and operations. Growing that foundation in consulting refined my business skills, where I led projects in Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain. Throughout, I fed my passion for team-building, understanding that success is achieved through collaboration, not individual effort.
My engineering journey began in college, where I raced for my school’s cycling team on weekends. I earned both a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Over 10 years later I earned my MBA from the University of Michigan. I have happily called Chicago home ever since.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I’m an avid bike rider and racer – I’ve built four so far! I’m also in fierce pursuit of Chicago’s best Old Fashioned with my girlfriend, Eunice, and love exploring the stunning outdoors of the Midwest.
